He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Springer and Lulu Springer (Boyle); his son Mark Springer; his siblings, Milton Springer (Peggy), Donald Springer (Emma), Gerald Springer (Januita), Robert Springer, Delbert Springer, Geraldine Everett (Gordon) and Carolyn Kearney (Ronald); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Springer and Joseph Plamer.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Springer (Brewer); his children, Luann Adams (Averil), Alice Hyslop (Peter), Beverley Melvin (Brian) and Sterling Springer (Lori); his siblings, Delores Palmer, Bill Springer (Sandra), Winston Springer (Barbara) and Weldon Springer; and his sisters-in-law, June Springer and Patrricia Springer. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
