With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edward Hanson (Jacksonville, New Brunswick), born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Edward Hanson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Hanson and Leota Hanson (Tompkins); his wife Lynn Hanson (McLaughlin); his son Douglas Hanson; and his siblings, David, Paul, Thomas Hanson and Shirley Hanson.

He is survived by : his sons, Kyle Hanson (Alicia), Chris Hanson (Fay) and Mark Hanson (Sandra); his grandchildren, William Hanson, Samuel Hanson, Thomas Hanson, Ashley Hanson and Henry Hanson; his siblings, Joseph Hanson (Florence) and Mary Hanson; and his sister-in-law Joy Hanson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of James can be made to the Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Foundation.
