The passing of Lana M. McKay of Jacksonville, New Brunswick leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Keyes and Serena Keyes; her husband Ross McKay; her brother Reid Keyes; her sister-in-law Daisy Keyes; her sister Laura Jean Antworth; her brothers-in-law, Lester Antworth and Ralph Culberson; her parents-in-law, Vernon McKay and Phyllis McKay; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Slipp, Connie Price and Robert Price.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Ian McKay (Mecil) and Dr. Kimberley McKay (Terry); her sister Myrtle Culberson of Jacksonville; and her brother-in-law Winston Slipp of Fredericton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Culberson Funeral Home (188 Connell St, Woodstock, NB E7M1L8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint James United Church (120 Chapel St, Woodstock, NB E7M1H1). A burial will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at the Canterbury Cemetery.
