He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Sewell and Mildred Sewell (Price); his wife Laureen; and his siblings, Sylvia Sewell, Gerald and Ralph Sewell.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Stairs (Clayton) of Bedell, NB, Greg Sewell (Alicia) and Wendy; his grandchildren, Evan, Bryden, Kiersten Sewell Connor and Jaxon Stairs; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Sewell and Ethel Sewell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
