He was predeceased by : his parents, Hiriam Foster (Hias) and Caroline Foster (Stephenson); and his siblings, Robert, Herbert, Donald, Murray and Marion.

He is survived by : his wife Diane Foster (Downey); his daughters, Suzanne, Joanne Foster (Terry) and Roxanne Neilson (Ken); his grandchildren, Allison, Diedre, Dayna, Adam, Danielle, Kaelyn and Konnor; and his brothers, Peter, Blair and Gerald (Jerry). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donations may be made in Lorne's memory to the Carleton Ground Search and Rescue.
