With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrna Ferne Tompkins (Jacksonville, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Myrna Ferne Tompkins to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmot Miller and Mae Miller (Whitney); her husband Basil Arnold Tompkins; her sisters, Margaret, Ola and Dale; and her siblings-in-law, Ross, Clayton, Fred, Maurice, Eva and Shirley.
She is survived by: her children, Janette Dickinson (Dean), Nancy Black (Joseph), Lynda Brewer and Stephen Tompkins (Debbie); and her siblings, Jean, Dorothy, Ross and Ebbie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great great- grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium (337 Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, NB E7M3S5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel (337 Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, NB E7M3S5).
