It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Walter Tompkins of Jacksonville, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Tompkins and Bernice Tompkins (Phillips); and his wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his children, Blaine (Rhonda), Craig (Kelly) and Andrea Anderson (Derek); his grandchildren, Emily, Samantha (Neil), Megan, Ryan (Ali), Gabrielle and Cole; and his siblings, Gail (Herb), Paulette, Janet (Jim) and Lawrence (Midge).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium (337 Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, NB E7M3S5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lindsay Baptist Church (8 Briggs Rd, Lindsay, NB E7M5M9).
Donations can be made to the Lindsay Cemetery in lieu of flowers if so desired.
