He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Sharkey and Georgia Sharkey (Wort); and his sisters, Irene McGuire (Clayton), Naureen (Babe), Zurich (Joe), Mary Carver (Ken) and Georgia (Twinnie).
He is survived by: his wife Gaynelle (Daye); his children, Harold (Robina), Michael (Linda) and Tiffany Johnson (Darren); his grandchildren, Kayla Davidson (Alex), Nicholas (Amy Tomah), Andrew (Emily), Victoria, SueEllen (Dennis Cullins), Jenna Sharpe (Jon) and Kristen Johnson; and his siblings, Phillip (Phyllis) and Margaret (Peggy) Chapman (Gilbert). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group, Calvary Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice.
