Vivian Christina Smith-McLean Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2025, at the age of 97, Vivian Christina Smith-McLean (Jacksonville, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Shaw and Muriel Shaw (Breen); her former husband Owen Smith; her husband Harry Mclean; her daughter Deborah; her son-in-law Joseph Taylor; her sisters, Wilma Johnson and Elva; her brother-in-law Ralph Hoyt; and her brothers, Dawson Shaw and Earl Shaw.

She is survived by: her children, Jack Smith (Lori), Amber Wishart (David), James Smith (Kim), Arthur Smith (Bev) and Bruce Smith (Debbie); her grandchildren, Darren Smith, Amy Smith (Michael Antworth), Joshua Taylor, Michael Taylor, Mitchell Taylor (Elliott), Alexander Wishart (Dawn), Daniel Wishart (Lori McEvoy), Erin Wishart (Ashley), Jeremy Smith (Katelynn), Jamie Dow (Sharon Koubi), Ashley Crabbe (Matthew), Samantha Smith (Joe Hosford), Carley Smith (Greg Richard) and Kate Smith; her brother Alton Shaw (Jean); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Johnson, Grace Shaw, Louise Keith and Dawn Greer (Stiles). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family has suggested donations to the Middle Simonds Cemetery or Central Carleton Nursing Home, in lieu of flowers.
