He was predeceased by : his son Dean; his parents, Ed and Meta; and his siblings, Bev, Lois (Lorraine), John and Lewis (Cindy Bill).

He is survived by : his son Joel Fondly. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
