He was predeceased by: his parent Harold Gilmore. He is survived by: his parent Phyllis Gilmore (MacIntyre Merrithew); his daughter Amanda Gilmore of Alberta; and his siblings, Ruth Pickard (Aubrey), Pam Gilmore, Richard Gilmore (Lynn), Vincent Gilmore (Crystal) and Aunt Beatrice Gilmore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Keswick Ridge Fire Department or a charity of the donor's choice.
