He was predeceased by: his parent Royden Bleakney; and his brother Alan. He is survived by: his mother Norma Bleakney (Hicks); his daughter Melissa Steeves; his grandchildren, Tamara Steeves and Simon Steeves of Petitcodiac; his brothers, Evans (Judy) and Kevin (Des); his sister-in-law Debby Bleakney (Jack); and his caregivers, Barb and Brian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
