He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Nicholson and Ethel Nicholson (Lusty); his brother Larry Nicholson; and his nephews, Robert and Troy Nicholson.

He is survived by : his wife Alvine M. Y. Nicholson (Aubin); his stepchildren, Jeff Nason (Laura) of French Lake, NB, Melvina Nason (Mark) of Fredericton, NB and Jeremy Nason (Sonya) of Hoyt, NB; his grandsons, Daniel Nason (Stephanie), Bradley Nason, Jordan Nason and Mackenzie Nason; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Dakota and Austin; his brother Wayne Nicholson (Carolyn) of Lake George, NB; and his nieces and nephews, Crystal, Jackie, Andrew and Christopher. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
