It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurina Mallet of Lincoln, New Brunswick, born in Shippagan, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Olivier Mallet and Maria Mallet (Bulger); her grandparents, Auguste, Ella Mallet, Arthur and Mathilde Bulger; and her nephew Steven Mallet (Caryne).

She is survived by : her siblings, Polydore (late Yvette) of Le Goulet, Ginette (Dwight) of New Maryland, Guilmont (Yolande) of Savoie Landing and Camillio (Caroline) of La Prairie; her nieces and nephews, Mélanie (Pius), Marie-France, Shawn (Wendy), Caroline (Will) and Yannick (Michel); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Catherine (Jordan), Luc, Francis, Samuel, Jesse and Maya; and her goddaughters, Guylaine Bulger and Sonia Haché. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends.

Pauline Thomas wrote a sympathy message

“C'est avec mes plus sincères condoléances que je voudrais la famille et amis(es) de Laurina sachent comment elle va être manquée. J'ai connu Laurina lorsque je travaillais à la Base militaire de Gagetown. On a parlé assez souvent lors de mon séjour là. Elle était tellement gentille... elle va être très, très manquée. Je regrette ne pas savoir avant aujourd'hui le 9 juillet qu'elle est décédée vers la mi-juin. Mes plus sincères condoléances à tous qu'ils ont eu l'honneur de la connaître.”
