He is survived by : his children, Colman (Sandra) of Nash Creek, Ronnie (Patricia) of Bathurst, Claudette O'Brien (Alzear) of Lorne, Norma Lapointe-Driscoll (late Maynard) and Alva Lapointe-Carrier (late Fernand) of Miramichi; and his siblings, Adeline of Rimouski, Peter of Lorne, Celestin of Montreal and Clarence of Rothesay.
