He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Hamilton and Erma Hamilton; his wife Joyce Lois Hamilton (Mutch); and his grandson David Clyde. He is survived by : his sons, David (Tosha) and Denny (Sarah); his grandchildren, Alex (Sydney), Austin (Ally), Kiersten and Khloe; his close friend Darlene Ettinger; and his siblings, Dale (Twila) and Sylvia Stewart (Sterling). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In Clyde's memory, a donation may be made to the Joyce Hamilton Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Lyttleton Pentecostal Church.
