He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Palmer and Cynthia Palmer (Briggs); his mother-in-law Cecil (Phyllis Doherty); his son Alan; his granddaughter Gracie; his siblings, Rita, John (late Dorothy), Weldon, Joseph and Reginald; his siblings-in-law, Connie Palmer, Adeline Palmer, Avis Doherty, Stanley Sarchfield, Gordon Carpenter, George Killam, Harold Cossaboom, Laurence Cook, Jeff Doherty, Bruce Doherty and Charles Doherty; and his friend Clay Shaw.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Palmer (Doherty); his daughter April Frankland (Reed); his grandchildren, Allyssa (Wesley), Brandon and Caitlin (Kynan); his siblings, Annie Carpenter, Inez Sarchfield, George Palmer, Franklin Palmer, Haldean Palmer (Kerry), Gary Palmer (Debbie) and Larry Palmer (Elaine); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Palmer, Patsy Palmer, Darlene Palmer, Sandra Palmer, Cathy Fraser, Faye McAllister (Kevin), Sharon Cossaboom (Roger) and Alan Doherty. He is also survived by many many nieces and nephews.
