He was predeceased by: his parents, Willem Vrieze and Anna Vrieze; his wife Shirley; and his son Brent. He is survived by: his children, Ann Vrieze, Lemie Vrieze Jr and Brian Vrieze; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Lemie Willem, Brian Dana, Tyler, Craig, Alyssa, Madison and Erin; his great grandchildren, Dayna and Aubrey Lyn; and his brother Maurice Vrieze (Rayma). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
