He was predeceased by: his parents, Doug Hare and Annie Hare (Hill); his wife Joan Ward; his sons, Alan and Michael Hare; his granddaughter Brittany Hare; his sister Eleanor MacLean (late Orlie); and his parents-in-law, Cecil and Ethel Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Goode (Jack), Marlene Hare (Todd) and Lance Hare (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Sheldon (Kelly), Jennifer, Brendan Goode, Derek Hare, Beverley Lee (Alex), Danielle (Andrew) and Devin Hare; his great grandchildren, Karlee, Hannah, Emily, Olivia, Zoey, Avah, Alan and Gwen; his siblings, Vaughn Hare (Judy) and Lynn Hartt; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Nason (late Tim), Mary Nason (late Rollie) and Carol Juvik (late Ed).
