It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith A. Thorburn of McAdam, New Brunswick, born in Hartland, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 8, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Ward Ginson and Ada Rose Ginson (Olden); her husband William Thorburn (Bill); her daughter Ellen Piercy; and her siblings, Robert Ginson, Evelyn Ginson, Kathleen Stephen, Dorothy Chase and Ruth Breneol.
She is survived by : her daughters, Janet Robichaud (Ovila) and Judy Sullivan (Troy); her son-in-law Joseph Piercy; her grandchildren, Troy Piercy, Michelle McGillicuddy (Terry), Patty Fawkes, Rachel Robichaud (Rick), Sarah Robichaud (Dave), Christy Robichaud (Mark) and Angie Brown (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Haley, Madison, Ava, Hailey, Alana, Addison, William, Clara and Meredith.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place and social distancing is encouraged and masks are mandatory.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the McAdam High School Scholarship Fund, Wauklehegan Manor Activity Department or Carma Cat Rescue.
