He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Bourgeois and Alice Bourgeois (Richard); his former wife Jeannette Bourgeois; his wife Léonie Boudreau; and his siblings, Zina, Rita, Alva, Alma, Antoine, Albert, Frankie and Ulysse.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Durepos (Maurice) of Moncton, Murielle Bourgeois (Réjean Vautour) of Aboujagane, Rosella Landry (Denis) of Cap-Pelé and Donald Bourgeois (Carol-Ann) of Memramcook; his sisters, Emélie Butler (late Eddie) of Moncton, Emerise Boudreau (late Jacques) of Barachois and Rosanna Bourgeois (Norbert Bourque) of Shediac; his grandchildren, Patrick (Courtney), Stephanie (Sylvain), Jérémie (Kayla) and Chantal; his great grandchild Charlie; and his close friend Lucie LeBlanc.
