He was predeceased by: his parents, Vital Richard and Edmée Richard (Melanson); and his siblings, Viola, Jeannine, Marie-Ange, Aline, Dorine, Gerard and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Marie-Thérèse; his daughters, Jocelyne Richard (Pierre Rozon) of Memramcook and Chantal Loubert of Calgary; his granddaughters, Annika, Alyssa and Alexane; and his siblings, Bertille LeBlanc of Dieppe, Francis Richard (Loretta) of Moncton and Leo-Paul Richard of Dieppe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
