He is survived by: his children, Gérard and Thérèse; his grandchildren, Mélanie, Véronik (Serge Desjardins), Sébastien (Amanda Connolly), Geneviève (Alain Carter), Isabelle (Jérémie Gautreau) and Alexandra (Matthieu Lacroix); his great grandchildren, Naomi, Isaiah, Henri, Vincent, Thomas, Alexandre, William, Victor, James, Loic and Daphné; his family, Ulysse (Stella) and Bernadette (René); and his sister Marie-Louise (Léo).
