He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Piper and Phyllis Piper (Harben); his wife Betty Piper (Shirley); his stepchildren, John Shirley, Laura Shirley and Ann Marie Dunphy; his grandchildren, Darby, Riley and Cora-Lee; and his siblings, Charlene Thorhauge (Rolf), Derek Piper (Terry), Gordon Piper and June Piper. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
