He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward MacFarlane and Beatrice MacFarlane (Carle); his wife Lorna MacFarlane (Kerr); and his sisters, Mavis Brown and June Brown.
He is survived by: his son Charles MacFarlane (Shirley Hansen) of Perth Andover, NB; his niece Crystal (Sterling); and his nephews, John and Roger Dunbar.
