She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Barton and Effie Barton; her husband Charles DeBouver; her former husband Stewart Carr; and her children, Marie Fougere and Allan.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Robichaud of Rothesay, NB, Arthur DeBouver (Lorraine) of Princess Park, NB, Paul DeBouver (Viola) of Douglas Harbour, NB, Larry DeBouver (Heidi) of Saint John, NB, Margot Kilfillen (Gary) of Salmon Creek, NB and Rick DeBouver (Daphne) of Coldbrook, NS. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
