He was predeceased by: his parent Albert Maranda; and his niece Roselle Desrosiers. He is survived by: his parent Emily Maranda (Richard); his siblings, Mary McCoy (Reg), Leona Thompson, Maria Scott, Leon Maranda (Betty), Ivan Maranda (Suzanne), Ella Maranda (Paul) and Joe Maranda (Bonny); his siblings' child JulieAnn Maranda; and also Craig Maranda. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
