Gwen Florence (Gwendolyn) Tompkins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Florence (Gwendolyn) Tompkins (Minto, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Barton and Reatha Barton (McNamera); her husband Doug Tompkins; and her stepson-in-law Jason Monarca. She is survived by: her children, Heather Pelletier (Jean-Eudes), Susan Hunziker (late Darryl), Dwayne Mills (Marla), Cindy Geringswald (Ralf) and Brad Mills (Terry); her stepdaughter Cindy Jonah (Henry); her grandchildren, Réal, Aline, Melissa, Justin, Michael, Sabrina, Ashley, Brittney and Brady; her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer and Steven; her sister Gretchen Betts (late Marven); and her caregivers, Kirsten and Timneet.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the MEMS Breakfast Program, Minlak, or North Minto Seniors' Residence are appreciated.
