He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Gallant and Irene Gallant (Noel); his son Paul K. Gallant; and his brothers, Eddie and Alderic Gallant.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gallant (Arsenault); his children, Michael (Nancy) and Michelle Petitpas (Paul); his daughter-in-law Hope Gallant-Day (Todd); his daughter Gayle Purves (Jack); his grandchildren, Kristen, Alex, Dominique, Patrick, Megan and Courtney; his great grandchild Quinn Gallant; and his sisters, Rena Geneau (Bill), Corrine Daigle and Dianne Daigle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
