She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazen Fulton and Frances Fulton (Doherty); her husband Swailes Emmerson; and her brothers, Gerald, Hugh (Margaret), John (Blanche) and George Fulton.

She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Bancroft (Douglas); her grandchildren, Robert (Heather), David and Brittan (Sarah Jane); her great grandchildren, Harper, Ashlyn and Atticus; her sister Pauline Fulton; and her sister-in-law Stella Fulton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
