Wellington Highland McNamara Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wellington Highland McNamara (Minto, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McNamara and Ruby McNamara; his siblings, Warren, Malcolm, Phyllis and Joyce; and his grandson Simon Coffey.

He is survived by: his wife Betty (Donaldson); his sister Thelma Gallant (late Fred Gallant); his daughters, Maureen Coffey (Robert Chadwick) of Halifax and Peggy Gauvin (David Gauvin) of Moncton; and his grandchildren, Mitchell, Lauren, Marc and William. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to W.G. Bishop Nursing Home would be appreciated.
