It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allen Pleadwell of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Pleadwell and Florence Pleadwell (Rankin). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Miller; his children, Melissa Starratt (Brad) of Ontario and Jeremy Pleadwell (Angel) of Surrey; his stepchildren, Amanda Miller (Jimmy) of Miramichi and Cody Miller (Katelyn Sturgeon) of Miramichi; and his grandchildren, Ivy, Harper, Mackenzie, Ethan, Joseph, Tyler, Khloe, Paisley, Sofia, Jozee, Bevin, Annie, Abbie, Cameron and Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Ltd. (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
