André Villeneuve Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of André Villeneuve (Miramichi, New Brunswick), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Villeneuve (Tremblay) and Hyppolyte Villeneuve; his former wife Marilyn (Wade); his siblings, Robert, Marcel, Christian, Denise of Quebec and Suzanne of Quebec; and his mother-in-law Dianne Ramsay of Miramichi.
He is survived by: his wife Christine (Ramsay); his stepchildren, Ricky Mather (Pam) of Miramichi and Lyndsay Mather of Victoria, BC.; his siblings, Jean Marie (Francine) of Saint-Philémon, Quebec and Roseann of Quebec; his siblings-in-law, André Trembly of Chicoutimi, Gordon Ramsay (Ann) of Stratford, PEI, Graham Wade (Mary) of Miramichi, Karl Wade (Diane) of Miramichi, Jacqueline Robichaud (Roland) of Miramichi and Cindy Ramsay (Jeff Inkpen) of Miramichi; his grandson Chase; his stepgrandchildren, Klinton and Grayson Miller of Fredericton; and his stepchildren, Karen Miller (Bruce) of Fredericton and Ralph Doucette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Andrew's Anglican Church (214 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V2V7).
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Percy's Place.
