He was predeceased by : his parents, Sylvester Hartery and Clara Hartery (Vickers); his brothers, Lyman Hartery and Edward Hartery; and his grandson Caelan Hartery.
He is survived by : his wife Rosella Hartery (Connell) of Little Bartibog; and his children, Cynthia Hartery (Art Young) of Miramichi, Deborah Rauwerda (Donald Rauwerda) of Virginia, ON, Dolan Hartery (late Mary Chase) of Ottawa, ON, Gary Hartery (Peggy Herrington) of Ottawa, ON, Kevin Hartery (Patsy Sieben) of Saskatoon, SK, Paul Hartery of Ottawa, ON, Michael Hartery of Saint John, Brian Hartery (Kim Jones) of Miramichi and David Hartery of Wynard, SK. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
