She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Newman and Beatrice Newman; her brother David Newman; her sister-in-law Carol Newman; her brother Ambury Newman; and her brother-in-law Frank Duthie.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Matchett, Derek Matchett (Lisa) and Victoria Roy (Brian); her siblings, Barbara Duthie and Garfield Newman (Pauline); her sister-in-law Edith Newman; her grandchildren, Tamara Baker (Matthew), Mitchell Roy, Brad Matchett and Renee Pineau; and her great grandchild Jude Baker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendrier Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
