He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Johnston and Connie Johnston (Bowie); his brother Austin; and his sisters-in-law, Sheila and Doris.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Johnston (Kendell); the mother of his child Louise; his son Caleb Johnston (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kirkland (Taylor), Jericho (Katie), Bella (Josh), Andre (Jenna), Jasmine and Leo; his great grandchildren, Sofia and Ridley; and his siblings, Isabel (Danny), Cathy (Walter), Ruth (Wade) and Ian. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael's Basilica (10 Howard St, Miramichi, NB E1N3A7).
