He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Blakely and Ellen Blakely (Creighton). He is survived by: his wife Frances Blakely (Ryan); his sons, Andrew (Pam) of Alberta and Douglas (Lisa) of Manitoba; his grandchildren, Breeana, Katelyn, Patrick and Samuel; his foster son Joseph Mazerolle (Wanda) of Newfoundland; his sister Shirley Carroll of Miramichi; and his great-nephew Nathan Robichaud. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
