She was predeceased by: her parents, Léo Melanson and Geneva Melanson (Melanson); her husband Adrian Blanchard; and her siblings, Jeanine Richard, Yvonne Landry (late Arthur) and Aurele Melanson "Jim" (Louise).
She is survived by: her children, Danny Blanchard (Janet) of Saint John and Donna Jardine (Philip) of Napan; her siblings, Paul Melanson (late Helena), Danny Melanson (late Rhonda), Iona Gauvin (late Raymond "Peter"), Norma LeBlanc, Lucie Collette (John) and Carmelle Thibodeau (late Hubert) of Moncton; her grandchildren, Nicole Johnston (Matt), Jessica Blanchard (Alicia McCully) and Tycen Jardine (Riley); her great grandchildren, Max Johnston, Archie Johnston and Georgia Jardine; and her close friend Paul Marcantonio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault St, Dieppe, NB E1A1G1). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home or the Percy's Place.
