She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Savoy and Sarah Savoy (Vienneau); and her siblings, Geraldine, Alfred and Alvin.

She is survived by : her husband Richard McDermaid of Miramichi; her sons, Richard (Leah) of Doaktown and James (Robin) of Fort Erie, ON; her siblings, Lorraine of Miramichi, Marie of Burlington, ON and Wilburt Savoy of Millerton; her grandchildren, Amy, Melissa, Christopher, Nadine and Jesse; and her great grandchild Theo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
