He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Goguen and Henrietta Goguen (Richard); his wife Lorina Goguen (Thebeault); his siblings, Loretta Goguen, Alma Goguen, Mary Goguen, Leo, Alyre, Lucien, Emile and Anthony; and his great grandchild Caitlyn.
He is survived by: his children, Grace Belding (Frank) of Lower Newcastle, Fidele Goguen Jr. of Miramichi, Patricia Harris (Stephen) of Miramichi, Gary Goguen (Cathy) of Chatham Head and Michael Goguen of Miramichi; his brothers, Manny of Chatham Head, Roy (Judy) of Nelson and Everett (Lillian) of Nelson; his grandchildren, Kiley Harris (Kim), Lisa Gagnon (Charlie), Amy Jardine (Matt), Matthew Goguen (Jessica) and Michelle Staples (Sean); and his great grandchildren, Grayson Harris, Landon Harris, Claire Gagnon, Jessa Jardine, Lincoln Staples, Connor Staples and Elsie Staples. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery (12 St Patricks Dr, Miramichi, NB E1N5T9).
