He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Alice (King). He is survived by: his wife Carole (Searle) of Miramichi; his daughters, Mary Theresa Waycott (Jamie) of St. Stephen, Cathy Casswell (John) of Miramichi and Deborah Hill (Paul) of Miramichi; his sister Agnes Dufour (Claude) of Ottawa; his granddaughters, Taylor (Matthew), Katie (Vincent), Allyson (Jamie) and Sarah (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Walker, Samuel and Anderson; and his siblings, James, Reginald, Pelham and Josephine (Shanahan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
