With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis J. Murphy of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 28, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Murphy and Deanna Murphy (Allain); and his sisters, Marcella and Barbara Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Murphy; his daughter Shelley Poirier; his stepdaughters, Cindy Murphy and Amy Stanaway; his sons, Mark Murphy and Louis Murphy; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Marcel, Tiffany, Jeffery, Aleena and Reed; his great grandchild Gabriel; and his siblings, Joanne Trevors (Ronnie), Sandra McKay (John) and James Murphy (Margaret-Rose). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
