She was predeceased by : her husband William "Bill" Fitzpatrick of Losier Hall; her parents, John Thomas "Jack" and Bernetta Sherrard (Whitney); her daughter Karen Fitzpatrick Miller; and her siblings, Russell Sherrard (Reen), Wilson Sherrard and Minerva Murray (Aubrey).

She is survived by : her children, Heather Liffiton (Patrick) of Sunny Corner, NB, Ruth Ann Fitzpatrick (William Watton) of Calgary, AB, Stephen (Dianne) of Sunny Corner, NB and William (Suzanne) of Thunder Bay, ON; her siblings, Lorna Connell of Sillikers, NB, Yvonne Trites of Losier Hall and Vernon Sherrard of Boom Road, NB; and her grandchildren, David, Jacqueline, John, Steve, Jason, Thomas, Jeryd, Justin, Jordan and Kelsey. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation and a memorial service to celebrate Geraldine's life will be held at a later date.

In Geraldine's memory, donations may be made to Saint Philip's United Church Cemetery or Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
