He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Dorothy Barry (Doris); his parents, James Donahue and Gertrude Donahue (Kelly); and his siblings, Lawrence, Herbert, Anne Marie, Robert, Mary and Timmy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joan (late Gerry), Donald (Doris) and Cyril (Mary Jane); his siblings-in-law, Kay, Susan, Christine and Tony Conte; his children, Danny and Jane (Richard Butler); his grandsons, Joseph, James and Jonathan (Natalia); his son Troy (Carla Crawford); his grandson Sean; his child Jackie; his grandchildren, Emma and Paul Hayes; his daughter Geraldine (Andrew Donovan); his grandchild Thomas (Aly); and also, Arthur, Joseph, Adele, Judy, Terry, Linda, Greg and Brent.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Michael's Basilica (10 Howard St, Miramichi, NB E1N0C4).
