She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Smith and Barbara Smith (Jardine); and her siblings, Burton (late Bernie), Frank (late Marina), Sterling (late Joan), Robert, Jack, Beverly, Margaret Johnstone (late Paul), Diann Johnson (late Garnet) and Joan.
She is survived by: her husband Donald MacTavish of Miramichi; her siblings, Gloria Johnstone of Cassiliss, Lucy Rice (George) of Mount Hope, ON, Faye Gilks (Edward) of South Esk and Delbert (Faye) of Derby; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine Hill (Carroll) of Sussex, Irma Gray (late David) of Moncton, Carolyn Thurber (Randy) of Salisbury and Robert MacTavish (late Elsie) of Moncton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
