He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt Mills and Charlotte "Lottie" Mills (Williston); his wife Velna Mills (Gilliss); his children, Heather Cormier and Garth Mills; and his siblings, Marjorie, Blanche, Bliss, Garth and Jasper.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Ludger Cormier of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Christine Adams (Cory) of Quispamsis, Nancy Buggie (Justin) of Upper Derby and Greg Corcoran (Alex) of Miramichi; his great grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Matthew, Jack, Bret, Ryan and Brody; and his sister-in-law Jackie Tozer of Miramichi. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
