She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Smith and Barbara Smith (Jardine); and her siblings, Burton (late Bernie), Frank (late Marina), Sterling (late Joan), Robert, Jack, Beverly, Margaret Johnstone (late Paul), Diann Johnson (late Garnet), June MacTavish (late Don) and Joan.
She is survived by: her husband George Rice of Mount Hope, Ontario; her daughters, Alison Larsen McSorley (Wes) of Cape Cod and Andrea Larsen (Mario Boccia) of Mississauga, Ontario; her granddaughters, Shannon McSorley and Alexandra King (Dillan); her siblings, Gloria Johnstone (late Bart) of Red Bank, Faye Gilks (Edward) of South Esk and Delbert (Faye) of Derby; her brothers-in-law, Edward Rice (Cheryl) of Ontario and Paul Rice (late Nancy) of Ontario; her stepchildren, Barclay Rice (Lisa), Gregory Rice (Heidi), G. Matthew Rice (Betzy) and Jennifer St. Pierre (Paul); and her stepgrandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Nathan, Brennen, Marilyn, Rozilyn, Jaclyn, Rose and Kevin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
