It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret (Ohearn) Flynn (Miramichi, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David James and Mable Catherine O'Hearn (Cook); her husband William "Billy" Flynn; her daughter Audrey Flynn; and her sister Mary Cook (late Clarence).
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Reynolds (Ken) of Berry Mills, Bernice McShane (Mark) of North Bay, ON, Joan March (Bruce) of Saint John, Patrick Flynn (April) of Redmondville, Gerard Flynn (Alana) of Moncton and Andy Flynn (Stacey) of Redmondville; her grandchildren, Kolton, Kyle, Chrissy, Tiffany, Allison, Rachel, Darcie, Myles, Sam, Shanice, Riley, Josh, Arminda and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Mercer, Kalvin, Logan, Luc, Garrett, Jaxx, Scarlett and Everett.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Margaret's Roman Catholic Church (9371 NB-11, Saint Margarets, NB E1N5C3).
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Margaret's memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Saint Margaret's Cemetery Fund.
