Marianne Jocelyn Goodfellow Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2020, at the age of 70, Marianne Jocelyn Goodfellow in Miramichi, New Brunswick, born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Lorimer McCormick and Anna Ruth McCormick (Clarke) of Lequille; and her brother Timothy McCormick (Marianne) of Wolfville. She is survived by : her husband John Frederick Goodfellow of South Esk, NB; her sons, William Cormac Goodfellow, Alexander Luke Goodfellow (Lesleigh) and Alfred Lyle Goodfellow (Sarah); her grandchildren, Jazmin, Ailis, Lachlan, Brighid, Catherine and Evelyn; her nieces and nephews, Jill and Dana; and her friend Connie McRae.

Memorial arrangements are in care of Davidson's Funeral Home and due to COVID-19, will be announced at a later date, tentatively in early August.

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to ALS Society of New Brunswick, the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation, or a charity of your choice.Marianne.

Joanne Light wrote a sympathy message

“Reading the legion's memories' book's many obituaries. including your loved one's father's, had me remembering her as a role model during high school. As Student Council President, a musician, and an athlete, she represented things I valued. During the "Bronze Medallion" course, I became ill. She wrote out the week's notes for me (unasked for), giving me the courage to take the test. Someone so special is never forgotten, even to a long-ago bystander. Deepest condolences for your loss.”
