She was predeceased by: her mother-in-law Catherine Matchett. She is survived by: her parents, Bill MacDonald and Edie MacDonald; her husband John Matchett; her son Michael Matchett; her brothers, Michael MacDonald (Cathy) of Miramichi, Mark MacDonald (Kim) of Miramichi and George MacDonald (Johanna) of Vernon, BC.; her father-in-law Bob Matchett; her siblings-in-law, Cathy Ward (Rob), Nancy Mullin-Ward (John) and Paul Matchett (Una); and her friends, Shirley and John. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Calendrier Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
